  1. Remove leaves from the cauliflower and break into florets.
  2. Peel and chop the potatoes. Wash both the potatoes and cauliflower, then set aside.
  3. Fry grated ginger in oil with cumin seeds until aromatic.
  4. When the mixture turns brown, add salt, chili powder, and turmeric. Mix well.
  5. Add vegetables, stirring to coat evenly with spices.
  6. Cover and cook on very low heat until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally.
